Brian Hung is a Chinese American artist and graphic designer. Since 2014, Brian has worked in the film industry at independent distribution companies such as Zeitgeist Films, Oscilloscope Laboratories, and, most recently, Cinema Guild, where he served as the Non-Theatrical Coordinator for many years. Brian brings his film background to movie poster design as the current in-house poster designer for Cinema Guild. Through art, graphics, and title treatments, Brian tries to capture the energy of each film. Brian is perhaps best known for his series of collaborations with Asian film directors such as Hong Sangsoo (The Woman Who Ran, The Day After, Hotel by the River), Jia Zhangke (Swimming Out Till the Sea Turns Blue), and Wang Xiaoshuai (Chinese Portrait).
After living in New York City for almost a decade, Brian now resides in California. He is a professional chef and has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants per se and l’abeille. He received his bachelor’s degree from Boston University.
